Officers' reports:  Commander We now have all the run stands put away for winter, the mowers are in storage and the last road cleanup is finished. The porta potty is closed for the season. Do not use it as the chemicals have been pumped out. The field can be used during the winter, but don’t call me if you get stuck. The runway extension is marked off but due to the winter we could not plant grass. The park system gave us a go for next year and they are still looking at the long term deal, but red tape is what red tape is. If it occurs this year, they will just extend our contact. They are pleased with the way we operated at the field. Keeping the gate locked and welcoming visitors etc. I sent a letter to the AMA for the TAG event. We will hear more about that after the first of the year. He wishes us all a Merry Christmas. 

Vice Commander
Nothing to report 

Training Report Balsa butchers meet at Panera Bread on Monday mornings at 9:00 for airplane construction 101. Please feel free to join the Grumpy Old men at this for a cup of coffee and then go to Hobby Town to build. 

Treasurer Treasurer’s report for ending November 30, 2014 was read and approved

Trustee’s It was suggested an audit the books at the next officers meeting may be in order.

Old business: Thanks were given for the indoor flying Tom is providing at the Man Cave location. Cost is $15 per week or $45 for the month payable on the first week. Spectators and kids are free. The times are from 7:00PM to 9:30 PM. The entrance is on the Airport Road side of the building and toward the back.

New business: Tom suggested we change our dues date to the first meeting in January. Since we can see who has paid or not paid their AMA dues on the web site, it may not be necessary to show your card when you pay your dues. It was suggested an online payment could be set up with Pay Pal. Nothing will be decided tonight, but presented as something to think about. In addition it may be possible to have a late charge, $15.00 per month, and after 3 months your membership will be cancelled. These would require a change to the By Laws.

Show and Tell Tom H gave a talk concerning charging batteries. He talked about a 4 port charger for Hitec that cost around $130.00. This charger provides 80 watts per port. Watts = voltage times the Amperage. This charger can charge different types of batteries and charge 4 different types at the same time. Various aspects of charging and the capabilities of the charger were discussed. Many thanks to Tom for his presentation.

Scott Showalter brought a few of indoor quads to demonstrate. He talked about the ProtoX he won. The newer models can do a flip. He picked up a little one this weekend at Radio Shack and it has a little camera on it which he did a maiden flight at the meeting. Thanks for demonstrating you quads Scott.

Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8:05
